Teen in Chhattisgarh Dies by Suicide During Live Instagram Broadcast

In a tragic incident in Janjgir, Chhattisgarh, 19-year-old content creator Ankur Nath died by suicide while streaming live on Instagram.

On December 29, Ankur was streaming when she allegedly hung herself in front of her followers. Over 20 viewers watched the distressing moment unfold, and several attempted to reach her home, but by the time they arrived, she had already passed away.

Ankur, a resident of Misda village, had parents who worked as daily wage laborers in Hyderabad. Locals reported that she often spent extensive time on her phone and speculated that either a personal relationship or online bullying might have led to her heartbreaking decision.

Nawagarh police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, with initial findings pointing to a heartbreak as a potential cause. Ankur's phone has been confiscated for analysis by the cyber cell, and her body has been sent for a post-mortem before being returned to her family.
