Shah Rukh Khan Receives Death Threat; Mumbai Police Trace Call to Raipur

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received a death threat over a phone call made to the Bandra police station on November 5. According to Mumbai Police, the caller demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh and issued a direct threat to the actor’s life.

A police spokesperson confirmed, "A call was received at Bandra police station threatening actor Shah Rukh Khan and demanding a ransom of 50 lakh rupees. An offence has been registered, and investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made so far."

The call, which was traced to Raipur in Chhattisgarh, led to a case being registered at the Bandra police station. A police team has already been dispatched to Raipur to track down and apprehend the suspect.

This incident follows a disturbing trend of rising threats against Bollywood celebrities. Just days earlier, actor Salman Khan also faced multiple threatening calls and messages in the wake of the murder of political figure Baba Siddique, with some of the threats directly targeting the actor.
