Rahul Gandhi bike ride picture in Ladakh goes viral, Congress says he is “Unstoppable"
As an extension of his ongoing ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was seen riding a bike across the Ladakh Valley to the Pangong Lake on Saturday. Rahul Gandhi is touring Ladakh as a part of his social outreach programme, connecting with the masses ahead of the polls for the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council-Kargil. He will be celebrating his father, former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary on August 20.
The Wayanad MP took to Instagram and shared images of his bike ride, across the picturesque Ladakh valley. “On our way to Pangong Lake, which my father used to say, is one of the most beautiful places in the world”, Gandhi captioned his images. Internet went abuzz over the pictures of Rahul Gandhi riding on a
KTM 30 Adventure, in biking gear.
Sharing more images of Gandhi on X, the Congress party wrote: “Upwards and onwards — Unstoppable!” This is Rahul Gandhi’s first visit to the Union Territory since Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir was bifurcated into two UTs, after the abrogation of Article 370.
Gandhi was welcomed into Ladakh with open arms on Thursday, he was ushered in by party leaders from the Leh airport, following which, Gandhi interacted with the youth in an event in Leh. In an interactive session, Rahul Gandhi said, "India got freedom in 1947 and consolidation of freedom in India is constitutional. The Constitution is a move... The way you put Constitution into action is by setting up institutions that support the vision of the Constitution. The Lok Sabha, and Rajya Sabha, force all these elements... Now what RSS is doing is it is placing its own people in key pots of institutional structure."
Rahul Gandhi’s 2-day visit to Ladakh was extended by 4 more days on Friday. This is a strategic visit, projecting Rahul Gandhi as one among the masses, participating in daily activities, fostering a stronger connect with the citizens at large. He is unstoppable, claims Congress.
