Platinum Hern Pvt. Ltd. Directors, Employees Accused of Rs 13.48 Crore Investment Fraud

The Shivaji Park police have registered a case against five individuals, including the directors and employees of Platinum Hern Pvt. Ltd., for allegedly duping investors of ₹13.48 crore under the pretext of lucrative returns.

The incident occurred at the Torres Vastu Center Building, J.K. Sawant Marg, Dadar West.

The FIR was registered on January 6, 2025, under Sections 318(4), 316(5), 61, BNS, and Sections 3 and 4 of the MPID Act.

According to the complaint filed by Pradeepkumar Mamraj Vaishya, a 31-year-old vegetable vendor residing in Khar West, the fraud took place between June 21, 2024, and December 30, 2024. The accused, identified as, Sarvesh Ashok Surve (Director), Victoria Kovalenko (Director), Taufiq Riyaz Carter (CEO), Tania Kasatova (General Manager), and Valentina Kumar (Store In-charge), allegedly promised investors a 6 to 10 per cent weekly return on the purchase of moissanite stones.

The company lured the complainant and other investors into their scheme, collecting a total deposit of Rs 13.48 crore Initially, the accused paid small returns to gain their trust. However, after December 30, 2024, they stopped paying both the promised returns and the principal amount, causing massive financial losses to the investors.

The complainant, along with several other victims, approached the police alleging that the accused had misappropriated the funds entrusted to them. Investigations are underway to trace the accused and recover the defrauded amount.

This is yet another case of financial fraud targeting unsuspecting investors with promises of high returns. Police have urged citizens to exercise caution and thoroughly verify investment schemes before committing funds.​
