Man Declared Dead Revives After Ambulance Hits Speed Breaker in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra
A 65-year-old man, who was declared dead by doctors at a private hospital in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, revived after being jolted in an ambulance when it passed over a speed breaker. The incident has gone viral, prompting widespread debate about whether it was a miracle or a medical mistake.
Pandurang Ulpe, a resident of Kadaba Bavda, was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. Doctors declared him dead and transferred his body to an ambulance for transportation to his home. However, during the journey, Ulpe’s wife, seated next to him, noticed subtle movements in his fingers.
Reports say that as the ambulance passed over a speed breaker, the shock seemed to revive Ulpe. His wife saw his fingers move and immediately asked the driver to return to the hospital. Upon examination, doctors, who had previously declared him deceased, performed an angioplasty and kept him under observation for the next two weeks.
After being monitored for a fortnight, Ulpe walked out of the hospital on his own, defying medical expectations.
Speaking to the media, Ulpe, a devout follower of Lord Vitthal, expressed gratitude for what he believed was a divine intervention. "This is nothing but God Shree Vitthal's blessings," Ulpe said.
