Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched an attack on BJP, levying charges of alleged corruption and mismanagement against the ruling government of Madhya Pradesh. “Lal Krishna Advani wrote a book in which he stated that the original laboratory of BJP-RSS is not in Gujarat, but Madhya Pradesh”, said the Wayanad MP, addressing a public gathering at Shahdol in the poll-bound state.

“In BJP's laboratory, deceased are being treated and their money is being stolen”, said Rahul Gandhi in tandem with the recent CAG report that has highlighted irregularities in the implementation of the center’s Ayushman Bharat scheme in Madhya Pradesh.

Hitting back at the BJP for the recent crimes committed against the Dalits and the tribals of Madhya Pradesh, the senior Congress leader said, “In BJP's laboratory, their leaders urinate on Adivasis. This is what Advani meant when he said that the BJP-RSS laboratory will be built in Madhya Pradesh.” Rahul Gandhi further said, “In BJP's laboratory, 18,000 farmers have died by suicide in 18 years.”

Doubling down on Congress’s demand for a caste-based census in the country, Rahul Gandhi said, "What rights should be given to Adivasis today? What part should be given to the OBC and ST categories? What should be the share of these communities? This is the question in front of the country and that is why we are talking about caste census. We will get it done..."
