22 MLAs sworn in as ministers in the Rajasthan Cabinet
Twenty-two MLAs took the oath as ministers in the Rajasthan government at a ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan on Saturday. Among them, 12 assumed roles as cabinet ministers, five as ministers of state with independent charge, and another five as ministers of state.
The MLAs were sworn in during the ceremony, with Governor Kalraj Mishra officiating the oath-taking process.
Those sworn into the Rajasthan cabinet include Kirodi Lal Meena, Madan Dilawar, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, Babulal Kharadi, Jogaram Patel, Suresh Singh Rawat, Avinash Gehlot, Joraram Kumawat, Hemant Meena, Kanhaiya Lal Choudhary, and Sumit Godara. Additionally, Sanjay Sharma, Gautam Kumar, Jhabar Singh Kharra, Surendra Pal Singh, and Heeralal Nagar assumed responsibilities as ministers of state with independent charge.
The results for the Rajasthan assembly elections were announced on December 3, BJP triumphed in 115 out of the 199 contested seats. On December 12, Bhajan Lal Sharma, was chosen as the chief minister, Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa were appointed as his deputies.
