“They can even kill…” Mamata Banerjee alleges BJP hatching conspiracy against her and Abhishek Banerjee
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has levelled serious allegations against Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Sunday, claiming the saffron party had been hatching a conspiracy to target her and Abhishek Banerjee. She even alleged that her life and so is TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee’s life could be under threat. “We are not scared of our lives. Like the conspiracy in Pulwama, they have conspired now. But we will break all their conspiracies. They can even kill us. They are targeting me and Abhishek Banerjee. But we aren’t scared of their threats. We are more concerned about keeping people safe”, said Mamata Banerjee during a public meeting in Kumarganj.
The big charge of the TMC supreme came a day after BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari alluded people from a public meeting on Saturday that there will be a ‘big explosion’ on Monday, “so big that the entire TMC leadership will be shaken”, claimed Adhikari. Without naming him, Mamata Banerjee called him a traitor and claimed that Suvendu Adhikari had jumped to BJP in 2020 ahead of Bengal assembly election in order to save his ill-gotten wealth.
“When the traitor says there will be explosion, I tell them first try bursting a small cracker. If there has to be any explosion then we will do it against the traitors. What happened to PM Care fund, the traitor must respond. BJP had promised they will bring black money, what happened to that, what happened to promised Rs 15 lakh in every account” Mamata Banerjee questioned.
While clarifying this was the General election and not the assembly election of the state, she called it an election to vote out BJP from power. She also demanded a white paper of the work BJP has done and how many of their promises have been fulfilled in the past 10 years. This is not Bengal assembly election, this is the election against Modi babu. She also mocked the Rs 15 Lakh promise made by PM Narendra Modi during his 2014 election campaign, a promise, that, amongst others, had catapulted him tom power. “This is the time for BJP and traitors to tell us what they have done for Bengal and for the people of India. One thing they have down successfully, they have sold off the country.” Mamata Banerjee said and warned if BJP came back to power then there won’t happen any more elections in the country in future.
