"The family is doing fine...": Kareena Kapoor Khan on the Burglary Attempt at Her Mumbai Residence

Bollywood actor and Saif Ali Khan's wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s team confirmed that an attempted burglary occurred at their residence in Mumbai during the wee hours of Thursdaymorning. According to the statement, Saif Ali Khan sustained an injury to his arm during a scuffle that broke out between him and the intruder, and is currently hospitalised where he is undergoing surgery.

"There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police are already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern," said Kareena Kapoor Khan's team in a statement. 

The incident took place around 2:30 AM, and Saif was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital around 3:00-3:30 AM for medical attention. His team has requested patience from the media and fans as the matter is being handled by the police. According to reports, a scuffle unfolded between the actor and the intruder, and Saif was reportedly stabbed six times. The burglar managed to flee after the altercation. 

In connection with the crime, three attendants are being questioned by the Bandra Police. One of them was also reportedly injured during the scuffle. Current reports suggest that only one intruder is suspected in the attack. The police have lodged an FIR at the Bandra Police Station, and investigations are ongoing.
