In yet another security breach at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, a 32-year-old woman allegedly entered Galaxy Apartments in Bandra West by misleading building security and police personnel. This incident occurred a day after a man from Chhattisgarh was caught trying to trespass into the same premises.

The woman, identified as Isha Bhushan Shapra, reportedly arrived at the building around 3:22 am on May 21. Dressed in sophisticated attire, she arrived in a cab and passed through the main gate where police were posted for Khan’s security. Despite surveillance and restricted entry, she managed to convince the building’s private security to grant her access.

According to police sources, while the building is guarded and entry is permitted only via biometric access controlled by the security staff, Shapra’s appearance led the guards to assume she was a known visitor. She was allowed through the biometric gate and proceeded directly to the lobby area outside Salman Khan’s flat, where she allegedly took a selfie. She then exited the premises and left in the same cab.

The intrusion came to light later when the security staff reviewed the CCTV footage and flagged her behavior as suspicious. A complaint was immediately lodged at the Bandra Police Station, and an investigation was launched.

With the help of cab details traced via CCTV footage, the police tracked down Shapra to her rented accommodation in Nag Society, Carter Road, and took her into custody. She is currently being interrogated.

This is the second such incident in 48 hours. On May 20, Jitendra Kumar Hardayal Singh, a 23-year-old man from Chhattisgarh, was detained for trying to trespass into Galaxy Apartments. He had reportedly loitered around the building in the morning and later returned in the evening, gaining entry by tailgating a resident’s car. He was apprehended by constables and a security guard, and later handed over to Bandra Police.

Singh told the police, “I wanted to meet Salman Khan, but the police wouldn’t let me. So I was trying to hide inside.” He has been booked under Section 329(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for criminal trespass.

Meanwhile, the back-to-back breaches have raised serious questions about the effectiveness of security at the actor’s residence. A senior police official defended the challenge, stating, “Galaxy Apartments is a residential building, and several families live there. It’s difficult to immediately distinguish between genuine visitors and imposters. In this case, the woman appeared respectable and misled the building’s security.” Authorities have since heightened surveillance at Galaxy Apartments, and further measures are expected to ensure such lapses are not repeated.
