In a major breakthrough in the case involving threats and a ransom demand from Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the Bandra police have arrested Faizan Khan, a lawyer from Raipur. The arrest follows an extensive investigation into a threat made against Khan, demanding a ransom of ₹50 lakh. Faizan Khan is being brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

Initially, Faizan claimed that his mobile phone had been stolen and denied any involvement in the threats. However, police uncovered critical evidence that pointed to Khan's direct involvement in orchestrating the ransom plot. Sources confirmed that he had used his own phone to make the threat call to the Bandra police station.

On November 5, the Bandra police station received a call on its landline. The caller threatened to kill Shah Rukh Khan unless a ransom of ₹50 lakh was paid. Shortly after the call, Faizan Khan reportedly reported his phone as stolen to the Raipur police, likely in an attempt to cover his tracks. However, the investigation team discovered several inconsistencies in his story.

A special police team returned to Raipur on Tuesday and arrested Faizan after uncovering crucial pieces of evidence that linked him directly to the threat. Sources suggest that Khan had meticulously planned the threat, including the false report of a stolen phone to mislead investigators.

The police are now bringing Faizan Khan to Mumbai, where they will continue their interrogation. Authorities believe that further questioning may provide additional insights into the motive behind the threat and whether Khan had any accomplices or criminal connections.
