The floods have affected about 17 lakh people in the state, with 65,400 taking refuge in 450 relief camps after their homes were damaged. Landslides have been reported at 2,032 locations, with 1,789 cleared so far. Efforts to restore the remaining areas are ongoing.

Chief Minister Manik Saha stated that 10 people have lost their lives owing to landslides in Ashwani Tripura Para and Debipur, Santirbazar. An ex-gratia payment of ₹10 lakh has been announced for the bereaved families. The Chief Minister has urged the public to support the ongoing relief and rescue efforts led by the government and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). He highlighted the severity of the situation and stated that he is personally visiting the affected areas.

The Assam Rifles have rescued approximately 334 people and are conducting extensive humanitarian operations under Operation JAL RAHAT.
