Nine Devotees Injured in LPG Cylinder Blast at Hyderabad Temple
Nine devotees of Lord Ayyappa suffered critical burn injuries following an LPG cylinder explosion at a Shiva temple in Sainagar on Sunday night. The incident occurred while the devotees were asleep in the temple’s accommodation room, police said.
According to initial investigations, the blast is believed to have been caused by an improperly turned-off cylinder knob after cooking.
The injured were immediately rushed to KIMS Hospital, where their condition is said to be critical, police sources confirmed.
The group of devotees had gathered at the temple as part of their preparations for a pilgrimage to the Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple in Kerala.
Authorities are conducting a detailed investigation into the incident to ascertain the exact cause of the explosion.
