The Northern Command of the Indian Army released a compelling video on social media on Wednesday, highlighting key moments from Operation Sindoor, a precision military operation targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan. The video, shared via a post on X by the Northern Command, underscores India’s resolute response to the April 22, 2025, terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, including 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national.
The footage showcases the Indian Armed Forces’ meticulously executed strikes on nine terror sites, including strongholds of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke and Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur, conducted on May 7, 2025. The video emphasises the operation’s precision, with visuals of targeted strikes demolishing terrorist launchpads, ensuring no collateral damage to civilian or military infrastructure. The Northern Command’s accompanying post on X described the operation as “an exemplar of restraint turning into decisive response,” reaffirming India’s commitment to regional peace while decisively countering terrorism.
Operation Sindoor was launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam attack, attributed to The Resistance Front, an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The Indian Army’s video addresses global curiosity about the subsequent ceasefire with Pakistan, clarifying India’s independent stance and dismissing claims of third party mediation, notably from US President Donald Trump, who suggested he played a role in de-escalation.
