“Everyone is fed up with Congress, corruption and crime in the state are at its all time high” said PM Modi in poll-bound Chhattisgarh
Addressing a public gathering in poll-bound Chattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that the Congress government has severely deteriorated the condition of the state on Tuesday. He slammed the Congress leadership over their case reservation demand. The Prime Minister laid the foundation for several developmental projects amounting to 26,000 crore in Bastar’s Jagdalpur in poll-bound Chhattisgarh.
“Congress government in Chhattisgarh has degraded the condition of the state. Everyone is fed up with Congress, corruption, and crime in the state are at their all-time high. It almost seems like Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh are competing with each other over the crime rates”, said Narendra Modi. He further stated that development in Chhattisgarh is only limited to false publicity and it is seen either on posters or inside the lockers of the Congress leaders of the state. “Chhattisgarh is demanding immediate change”, he added.
Talking about the caste-based survey report of Bihar, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, emphasizing the need for a caste-based census said, “..Out of 90 secretaries of the Central Government, only 3 are OBC, who handle only 5% of India's budget! Therefore, it is important to know the caste statistics of India. Jitni aabadi,utna haq (The greater the population, the greater the rights), that is our pledge.” Launching a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his ‘jitni aabadi,utna haq’ remark, the Prime Minister said, “Since yesterday, Congress leaders are saying 'jitni aabadi utna haq'. I cannot help but wonder what former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would be thinking; he always said that the minorities of India have first right to the country's resources. But now Congress is saying that the population of the community will decide who will have the first right to the country's resources. So now do they want to decrease the rights of the minority or remove the minorities’ altogether? Should the Hindus, who have the largest population, come forward and take all their rights?"
“Congress party is no longer run by Congress leaders, the senior leaders of Congress are sitting with their mouths shut, neither are they asked for their opinion nor do they dare to speak after seeing all this. Now Congress has been outsourced”, said the Prime Minister alleging that the Congress leadership of the day has deviated from the ideal of the former Congress leaders.
Laying the foundation for several developmental projects amounting to 26,000 crore in Bastar’s Jagdalpur today, the Prime Minister assured the people of Poll-bound Chhattisgarh that the steel industries being set up will provide employment to over 55,000 people. He further stated that more steel companies are slated to be set up, and that would take the employment tally of the state to more than a lakh. “In the upcoming years, youths from across the nation will come to Bastar for employment”, said the Prime Minister.
