The early trends show BJP leading in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan while the Congress is leading in Telangana and Chhattisgarh. These are early trends and the counting process is underway with several rounds pending.

Madhya Pradesh has 230 assembly seats while in Rajasthan 199 seats went to polling. In Telangana, the newest state of India, this is the third assembly election for the 119 seats. In Chattisgarh 90 seats went to polling in two phases on November 7 and November 17.

Early trends indicate that BJP is much ahead of Congress in Madhya Pradesh where the sitting BJP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan came back to power in 2020 after Congress government of Kamal Nath got toppled in less than 15 months. In Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot, sitting Congress Chief Minister is leading from Sardarpura, as per early trends. However in the state overall, trends indicate a neck to neck battle between BJP and Congress with slight edge to the former. In Telangana, the ruling BRS is facing the toughest battle with Congress is handsomely ahead of them, crossing the halfway mark, according to the early trends.

KCR, Chief Minister, Telangana is trailing in both seats he had contested- Gajewal and Kamareddy, as per the trends. KCR was leading after postal ballot counting but trends changes with EVM counting. Several rounds still left but most of the exit polls had indicated Congress ahead of BRS.
