West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday outlined her itinerary for January 22, the day of the much anticipated Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. A “harmony rally” will be held from Kolkata’s Hazra to Park Circus and people of all faiths will be a part of it, “Dharma Jaar Jaar, Utsob Shobaar,” (faith is personal, but festivals are for all) said Banerjee.

“I will do a rally on January 22. It will begin from Kali Mandir, where only I will visit to offer prayers to Maa Kaali…Following that, we will hold an interfaith rally from Hazra to Park Circus maidan and hold a meeting there. We will cover mosques, temples, churches, and gurdwaras along the way. Everybody is welcome to join the rally. People of all faiths will be there at the rally,” said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Mamata Banerjee also instructed her party members to hold similar rallies in every block and district at 3pm on the same day.

The West Bengal Chief Minister took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that “Pran Pratistha” or consecration is not the job of politicians but that of priests. "It is not our job to do 'Pran Pratistha'. It is the job of the priests. Our job is to create infrastructure," added the Trinamool Congress Supremo.
