D-Gang-Linked Drug Network Exposed; Social Media Influencer Orry Summoned

Social media influencer Orry has been summoned by the Mumbai Police in connection with a Rs 252-crore drugs case. He has been asked to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Cell’s Ghatkopar unit tomorrow at 10 a.m. for questioning. However, Orry’s team has not issued an official statement regarding the summons.

Last week, the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Police busted a drug racket connected to Salim Dola, a close aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. The police secured the extradition of four of Dola’s family members from Dubai, crippling the syndicate’s supply chain that operates across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Mumbai’s entertainment industry.

The nationwide drug supply network came to light after police arrested Tahir Dola, son of Salim Dola, following the discovery of evidence during a raid at a factory in Sangli, Maharashtra. According to an ANC officer, “Tahir was involved in a major drug racket in Maharashtra, and his arrest helped link earlier seizures.”

The ANC further disrupted the syndicate’s operations in India with Tahir’s arrest, and officers are also tracking the movements of Salim Dola, who is believed to be in Turkey.

Salim Dola, a key figure in a D-gang–linked narcotics network, is wanted in a case involving the smuggling of contraband in Dongri. The NCB has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for information on his whereabouts.

Earlier, the Crime Branch arrested Dola’s nephew, Mustafa Mohammad Kubbawala, who was suspected of managing finances from Dubai and transferring money for the syndicate. “We found strong evidence of his involvement in operating the drug network abroad,” an investigator said. One of the deported accused, Salim Mohammad Sohail Shah, allegedly supplied narcotics to Bollywood actors and other influential individuals.

Following these arrests, the Crime Branch issued a Red Corner Notice against Salim Dola, intensifying the international pursuit.
