CCTV Footage Reveals Perpetrator Changed Clothes after Attacking Saif Ali Khan
In a shocking turn of events, the unidentified intruder accused of stabbing Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, changed his clothes after the attack in a bid to evade arrest. CCTV footage from near Bandra West station shows the perpetrator wearing a fresh set of clothes in the hours after the attack on Khan. The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and security of residents in Mumbai.
According to reports, the accused left the actor’s house and walked towards the Bandra railway station. The accused then changed his clothes at the station to avoid being identified or arrested by the Mumbai Police. The perpetrator was first spotted in CCTV footage that was recovered from Saif Ali Khan’s residence. The police have since launched a search operation to arrest him.
Over 40 hours have passed since the attack on the actor, and the perpetrator is yet to be arrested. The Mumbai police on Friday morning called in a suspect for questioning, based on CCTV footage recovered from the actor’s residence. However, after three hours of interrogation, the police concluded that the suspect had no connection with the incident.
On early Thursday morning, Saif Ali Khan was by an unidentified intruder at his residence. He was rushed to Mumbai’s Leelavati hospital and underwent a surgery that lasted for around 2.5 hours, and is now reported to be in a stable condition. The doctors at the hospital operated out a piece of the knife that was used to stab Khan from his body, lodged near his spinal cord. According to reports, Saif Ali Khan sustained six stab injuries, two of which were close to his spinal cord.
