Bomb Threat Call Triggers Security Alert at Mumbai Domestic Airport (T1)
The CISF control room at Mumbai’s Domestic Airport (T1) received a bomb threat call on Wednesday afternoon, triggering immediate security measures. The caller, who remained unidentified, claimed that a man named Mohammad was traveling from Mumbai to Azerbaijan with explosives.
The call, which came in around 3 PM, provided no further details regarding the flight or the individual involved, before abruptly ending. In response, the CISF immediately informed the Sahar Police Station, prompting a swift deployment of officers to the airport for a thorough investigation.
Authorities are currently working to trace the origin of the call and are verifying passenger information to ensure public safety. As a precautionary measure, security has been heightened at the airport, with additional checks and surveillance put in place.
