Alleged gangrape in Lucknow, 3 arrested by the police
A girl undergoing psychiatric treatment at the King George’s Medical University was allegedly gang raped by three men inside a car parked outside the medical facility in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The police have identified the three men as – Satyam Mishra, Mohammad Aslam, and Mohammad Suhail.
Satyam Mishra, one of the three accused ran a tea stall outside King George’s Medical University. It is here that the victim met Satyam Mishra and befriended him. According to the Lucknow Police, during one such meeting over tea, Mishra along with the two others took the victim to a parked Wagon R to help him charge his phone and she was allegedly gang-raped inside the car. The three men then allegedly dumped the victim on the road. The Lucknow police have seized the vehicle for further investigation.
The Lucknow police have informed that three of the accused were apprehended by the police within 12 hours of the complaint being lodged. “The joint police team of Surveillance/Crime Team (West) and Police Station Wazirganj successfully exposed the incident by arresting 03 vicious wanted accused in 12 hours. #UPPolice #Lkopolice_On_Duty”, posted Lucknow Police on social media platform 'X'.
