28-Year-Old WNS Employee Fatally Attacked by Colleague in Yerwada

In a shocking incident at WNS Global Services in Yerwada, a 28-year-old employee, Shubhada Kodare, was fatally attacked by her colleague, Krishna Satyanarayan Kanaujia, following a financial dispute.


According to the police, Kanaujia had lent Rs 4 lakh to Kodare, allegedly for her father’s medical treatment. Upon discovering that her father was not ill, he confronted her in the office parking lot. The argument escalated, and Kanaujia attacked Kodare with a sharp object, inflicting fatal injuries. Kodare, who reportedly suffered from low blood sugar, succumbed to excessive bleeding before help could arrive.


The Yerwada police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. CCTV footage from the office premises is being reviewed to piece together the sequence of events leading to the attack.


The incident has raised concerns about workplace safety and the management of interpersonal disputes in professional settings. WNS Global Services expressed its condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of full support during this difficult time.
