BJP Releases Second List of Candidates for 2024 Lok Sabha Elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday released its second list of candidates for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal have been fielded from Nagpur and Mumbai North respectively. Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has been nominated from the Karnal seat.

Several Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi from Dhawad, Anurag Singh Thakur from Hamirpur, and Shobha Karandlaje from Bangalore North, are among those who have been named in the second list.

In addition, other marquee candidates include Harsh Malhotra from East Delhi, Rao Inderjit Singh from Gurgaon, and former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai from Haveri.

BJP in its first list had included 195 nominees across 16 states and Union Territories. The second list encompasses candidates from states spanning Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, Telangana, Delhi, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh.
