BJP Member of Parliament, Nishikant Dubey, has criticized his fellow party member, Ramesh Bidhuri, for making communal remarks against another parliamentarian. However, he has also called for an investigation into the behavior of the legislator who was the target of these remarks. During a session, Ramesh Bidhuri repeatedly abused and passed Islamophobic slurs directed towards Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party's Danish Ali, which was admonished by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Mr. Bidhuri's comments were subsequently removed from the records. Mr. Dubey stated that such comments from Mr. Bidhuri are not acceptable in a civilized society.

Taking to X, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey posted, “No civilized society can accept the statement given by Ramesh Vidhuri ji in the Lok Sabha as correct, it is less to be condemned but @loksabhaspeaker ji should also investigate the indecent words and conduct of MP Danish Ali. According to the rules and procedures of the Lok Sabha. Under this, interrupting an MP during the scheduled time, speaking while sitting, doing running commentary also comes under the ambit of punishment. I have been an MP for the last 15 years, I stay in the House for the longest time from the opening of the Lok Sabha till its closing. I never thought I would see such a day.”

Nishikant Dubey has stated that interrupting a Member of Parliament while they are speaking during their allotted time and providing a running commentary is against the rules and procedures of Lok Sabha and may result in disciplinary action. The Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, expressed regret in the House shortly after the incident.

During a discussion on the success of Chandrayaan-3, Ramesh Bidhuri, a BJP MP, referred to Danish Ali, a Muslim MP from the Bahujan Samaj Party, as an "aatankwadii" (terrorist) in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla warned Bidhuri on Friday that strict action would be taken against such behavior if it is repeated. The BJP sent Bidhuri a show-cause notice on Friday, requesting an explanation for his use of unparliamentary language within 15 days.
