Security measures have been tightened around the embassy and other Jewish establishments, following a low-intensity blast near the Israel Embassy in New Delhi. The police have not found any remnants of the explosives, however, a letter addressed to Israel's ambassador to India was found. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), along with armed National Security Guard (NSG) commandos, a forensics team, and a dog squad have initiated their investigations in the vicinity of the embassy building.

The authorities probing into the incident have not ruled out the possibility of a "chemical explosion.” CCTV footage has been reviewed by the security agencies and as per reports, two individuals seen walking in the vicinity before the blast are under scrutiny as potential suspects.
The letter that has been found contains references to Zionists, Palestine, and Gaza, and has been sent for forensic analysis to check for fingerprints. The perpetrators have identified themselves as part of an organization called 'Sir Allah Resistance’ in the letter.

Earlier today, the Israel National Security Council issued an advisory for Israelis in India, urging them to avoid crowded places frequented by Western/Jewish and Israeli elements. "Avoid participating in events with many participants that are not secure. Avoid posting trip details on social networks and posting photos and visit details before the trip and in real-time,” reads the advisory. Israel's Deputy Ambassador to India assured the safety of workers and diplomats at the embassy.

The Delhi Police received a call reporting a blast near the Israel Embassy on December 26, no explosive materials were found, and the authorities are yet to confirm it as a blast. However, a security guard reported hearing a loud sound and observing smoke. Investigations are ongoing, and according to reports, undisclosed items have been collected by the authorities.
