“BJP hatao, India bachao”, upping the ante against BJP, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has asserted that PM Modi Government is there for another 6 months and there after “there will be better days” for India. “Modi ji is there in India for another 6 months. We are doing everything to ensure Modi Government is defeated”, said Mamata Banerjee while adding that she is fully there with the India opposition alliance.

Mamata Banerjee was speaking at the event organised by the Muslim minorities in Kolkata where she alleged that there are attempts being made to stoke communal disturbances in Bengal by BJP and in places in cohorts with Left and Congress. “I will urge the people from minority community not to get instigated. That’s exactly what they want. Both Hindus and Muslims do not do riots. But BJP may send someone as saffron clad to create violence and I urge you not to react. I will not allow riots in Bengal. BJP wants to divide people in Bengal to secure their votes. They will not succeed”, said Banerjee.

Referring to the recent incidents of communal clashes in Haryana, Bengal CM said BJP is deliberately trying to defame Muslims and she reiterated that under no circumstances NRC will not be implemented in Bengal. She also confirmed her opposition to Uniform Civil Code.

“I only have one hunger now, to outthrow BJP and those who are trying to trying to divide people for vote bank politics in exchange of money, they will be taught a lesson. I have one prayer now, BJP leave India, India rescued of jumla and lies”, said TMC supremo.

The next India alliance meeting is slated on August 31 and September 1 in Mumbai. Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have already confirmed their attendance amongst others. This was the second time Mamata Banerjee predicted that BJP Modi government won’t last for more than 6 months without clarifying as how and why, since the Lok Sabha 2024 elections are due by April next year.
