“Israel didn't start this war, but Israel will finish it” warns Benjamin Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Hamas on Tuesday, stating that while Israel did not initiate the conflict, it is determined to end it. As a part of retaliatory measures against Hamas, Israel has mobilized 300,000 troops, marking the largest mobilization since the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned of an intensification of retaliatory measures, and lashed out at Hamas for the surprise attack stating that they ‘will pay a heavy price.’ Addressing the nation and detailing the vagaries of war, Benjamin Netanyahu said, "Israel is at war. We didn't want this war. It was forced upon us in the most brutal and savage way. But though Israel didn't start this war, Israel will finish it." The ongoing war has inflicted heavy losses on lives and property, and visuals that have surfaced on social media show the plight of the common people. The conflict raging since Saturday morning has claimed over 700 lives and injured as many as 2,300 Israelis.

“Hamas will understand that by attacking us, they have made a mistake of historic proportions. We will exact a price that will be remembered by them and Israel's other enemies for decades to come. The savage attacks that Hamas perpetrated against innocent Israelis are mindboggling: slaughtering families in their homes, massacring hundreds of young people at an outdoor festival, and kidnapping scores of women, children, and elderly, even Holocaust survivors”, said the Israeli Prime Minister. Netanyahu linked Hamas to the ISIS, who have chained, burned, and killed children. He urged the "forces of civilization" to unite and fight against Hamas, the way civilization came together to fight the ISIS.

Support from across the world has so far poured in bounty for Israel, Netanyahu has thanked world leaders for their unprecedented support for Israel. He especially expressed his gratitude towards US President Joe Biden for America's help to Israel. "I am in continuous contact with President Biden, and I would like to thank him again, on behalf of all the citizens of Israel, for the commitment of the US in words and deeds for the security of Israel”, said the Israeli Prime Minister.

Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to launch an offense against Hamas ‘like never before.’ "In fighting Hamas, Israel is not only fighting for its own people. It is fighting for every country that stands against barbarism. Israel will win this war, and the entire civilized world will win when Israel wins," asserted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In the meantime, Hamas has stated that they would take civilians hostage, and then they would be executed without warning and the killings will be broadcast if Israel targets the Gaza Strip.
