“Is this Ram Rajya of Double-Engine government” asks Uddhav Thakrey

Upping the ante against BJP, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday questioned if the Haryana clashes are a gift from “double-engine” government. Highlighting what had been happening in Manipur for the past 3 months and what happened in Haryana earlier this week, Uddhav Thakrey asked if this “Ram-Rajya”

"First in Manipur and now in Haryana, is this a 'Ram Rajya' or not? Is this the face of double engine government. What is the government doing there in Manipur? The Governor of Manipur is a woman and the kind of atrocities have happened on women there, are shameful” said Uddhav Thakrey

Like him, other opposition leaders and essentially from the Opposition INDIA bloc have slammed BJP over the recent Haryana clashes between two groups. Like former Maharastra CM, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee too had hit out and said “such riots are designed by BJP ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha Polls”

After Bihar and Karnataka, Opposition parties INDIA bloc are expected to meet in Mumbai between August 31 and September 1 for the Maharastra chapter. The opposition parties have questioned the silence of PM over Manipur crisis.
