INDIA's Loktantra Bachao Rally: Sunita Kejriwal hits out at the BJP, Reads out Arvind's Mesage, Unveiling 6 Guarantees Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Sunita Kejriwal, wife of now jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, hit out at the BJP led central government during the INDIA bloc's Loktantra Bachao rally held at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. In her address, she read out a message from her husband, who is currently in custody of the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. "My husband is in jail,has the PM done the right thing?" questioned Mrs Kejriwal.

Asserting that the nation stands in solidarity with Arvind Kejriwal, Sunita Kejriwal highlighted the alleged political targeting of the Opposition by the BJP-led central government through the use of central agencies, particularly ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The AAP Chief's wife then went onto read out a message sent by her husband. "My beloved counrtymen please accept my pranam. I am not asking for votes, I am inviting the 140 Cr people of the country to make a different India," said Mrs Kejriwal on behalf of Arvind Kejriwal. Ahead of the all important 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the AAP Chief announced 6 guarantees. "First, there will be no power cuts in the whole country. Second, electricity would be free for the poor people. Third, we will make government schools in every village. Fourth, we will make Mohalla Clinics in every village. We will make a multi-speciality government hospital in every district. Everyone would get free treatment. Fifth, farmers would be given the correct price for the crops. Sixth, the people of Delhi have faced injustice for 75 years... We will give statehood to Delhi," said Kejriwal in his message.

Addressing the gathering of AAP supporters and opposition leaders, Sunita Kejriwal expressed confidence in her husband's resilience, asserting that he cannot be indefinitely detained. "Do you believe that Kejriwal Ji is a true patriot and honest person? These BJP people are saying that Kejriwal ji is in jail, he should resign. Should he resign? Your Kejriwal is a lion, they will not be able to keep him in jail for long," asserted Sunita Kejriwal.

The mega opposition rally has leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, and Tejashwi Yadav and others in attendance.
