“How does Modi Ji Know that Adani-Ambani sends money in tempos?” Rahul Gandhi retorts to PM Modi’s ‘Adani-Ambani’ remark

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday took to social media to react to PM Modi’s Adani-Ambani statement.

“Normally you talk about Adani-Ambani behind closed doors. This is the first time you have mentioned them in public. How do you know they send money in tempos, do you have a personal experience with them? I suggest that you send ED and CBI to them and do a thorough enquiry,” said Rahul Gandhi in the video.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a speech addressing an election rally at Telangana had alleged that Rahul Gandhi has stopped raising questions on Adani-Ambani because the Congress party has received tempos full of black money from them.

For the last five years, the Wayanad MP has maintained that the BJP Government have made policies and taken several decisions in their tenure to benefit the two industrialists Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani. PM Modi suggested that Rahul Gandhi has stopped talking about them after the elections were announced. Rahul Gandhi had however spoken about Adani on several occasions after the elections were declared, including on Tuesday, May 7 while addressing a rally at Chaibasa, Jharkhand.
