While addressing a BJP cadres meet in the poll-bound state of Madhya Pradesh on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that MP would become ‘bimaru’ (sick) if the Congress came back to power in the state. The PM further alleged that the Congress has resorted to nitpicking and finding faults in everything that the Union Government does because ‘they cannot honor the interest of this country.’

In his speech, Narendra Modi thanked the voters of the state for always showering their blessing on the BJP and further stated that the ‘love and admiration’ of the people of Madhya Pradesh is his strength. Taking a jibe at Congress, the PM stated, “Congress doesn’t have a future plan. It is a rusted iron that gets spoilt in the rain. Congress can’t honor the interest of the country.” In his speech, time and again, the Prime Minister alleged that Congress ‘lacks intent’, ‘thrives on corruption’, and has spearheaded a regime of ‘misrule’ in Madhya Pradesh.

Launching a scathing attack on the Congress for alleged ‘misrule in the state’, Narendra Modi said, “Madhya Pradesh has been ruled by Congress for many years, however, corruption, lack of intent, misrule, poor law and order conditions in the state are hallmarks of the Congress regime. Congress made Madhya Pradesh a ‘bimaru’ (sick) state.” In addition, Modi pointed out that if the Congress came back to power in the state, they would make Madhya Pradesh ‘bimaru’ again.

“Congress criticizes anything that BJP does. They were against the Vande Bharat Express trains or the railway infrastructural push. They also seem to have a problem with the new Parliament building, despite the whole nation praising the government's move. They opposed the digital payment methods that we propounded, but the world is impressed by UPI. Congress is living in an archaic age, they neither want to change nor do they want the country to change”, said Modi alleging that Congress is against the development of India. The PM further stated that India has garnered praise and appreciation from the world and the country at large for the development schemes that the current BJP Government has rolled out; however, the advancement of the country does not sit well with Congress.

Hitting back at the Congress for their ‘parivarwadi’(dynastic) politics, the Prime Minister said, “Congress is responsible for the miseries of youth forefathers. The world today is all praises for India, all that good work could have been done before but Congress only worked towards parivarwaadi.” In addition, Narendra Modi said that 13.5 crore people have come out of poverty in the BJP regime over the past 10 years. “My dear brothers and sisters of Madhya Pradesh and India, this is Modi’s guarantee and the promises reach everyone when Modi guarantees. Modi is equal to the guarantee of every guarantee,” he added.

Talking about the Women’s Reservation bill that was previously passed by both houses of the Parliament, Narendra Modi said, “Just a few days back the women's reservation bill was passed in Parliament. The women of this nation had been waiting for it for decades. The INDIA alliance has supported the bill with an aching heart. The bitterness is visible. They have been compelled to support it. The alliance has parties who didn’t let this bill pass in 30 years.” The Prime Minister alleged that Congress did not pass the bill during their regime because they did not believe in women's empowerment. “My sisters and daughters of Madhya Pradesh present here, I want to remind you that Modi has kept his guarantee. The women's reservation bill guarantees 33 percent seats,” said Modi asking the women forces of MP to form a united front against the divisive politics of Congress.

“Born with silver spoons in their mouths, the issues of the poor do not matter to the elitist leaders of Congress. For them, the problems of the poor of India are equivalent to adventure tourism. When the BJP government is working for the empowerment and the upliftment of the country's poor, the Congress is ridiculing it abroad” said Narendra Modi taking a dig at the Congress. “The BJP is working for the poor. I brought the development that Congress ignored for generations. Modi's temperament is different, path is different, and mission is different, the country is everything to me.” added the Prime Minister conveying his commitment and love for the people of poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.
