In a video that has taken social media by storm, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi can be seen shouting ‘bye-bye KCR’ into a microphone during an election rally in Kamareddy in the poll-bound state on Sunday. Ahead of the high-stake Telangana Assembly Election scheduled on November 30, Gandhi sharpened his attack on the incumbent chief minister, stating that KCR and BRS have done nothing for the welfare of the people of the state. ‘Congress is going to sweep the elections with a massive majority,’ maintained Rahul Gandhi. The results for Telangana's 119 seats will be tallied on December 3.

During a poll campaign in Kamareddy on Sunday, the Congress Chief of Telangana’s speech was interrupted by Rahul Gandhi, when he took the microphone and bid farewell to the sitting Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Rahul Gandhi’s ‘bye-bye KCR’ jibe was greeted with raucous applause and support from the audience. A three-way competition between the Telangana Congress chief, KCR, and the BJP's K Venkataramana Reddy will be seen in Kamareddy.

A day before poll campaigning in Telangana comes to an end, Congress left no stone unturned to appeal to the masses on Sunday. "Today, there is a fight between 'Dorala Sarkar' (feudal government) and 'Prajala Sarkar' (people's government) in Telangana. Your chief minister is asking what the Congress has done. The question is not what the Congress has done; the question is what KCR has done," said Rahul Gandhi. Throughout the poll campaign, the Wayanad MP maintained that the Congress would sweep a whooping majority in the upcoming 199-seat assembly elections. "Everyone in Telangana knows that Congress is going to win the elections. Congress is going to sweep the elections with a massive majority," Rahul Gandhi affirmed.

In their election manifesto, Congress has given six guarantees to the people of Telangana that include ₹ 2,500 per month for eligible women, gas cylinders for ₹ 500, 200 units of free electricity, and ₹ 4,000 monthly pensions for eligible senior citizens. In his speech, Rahul Gandhi assured that all guarantees would be passed in the very first cabinet meeting if the Congress came to power.

On the other hand, KCR and other leaders of BRS have mocked Congress over their projected guarantees. The BRS leaders have claimed that the guarantees promised by Congress in Karnataka are far from implementation and that Telangana would also face the same problem if the Congress came to power in the poll-bound state.
