In a major breakthrough in the rave party case at NESCO, police investigations have revealed that similar drug-fueled parties had been organised earlier under the guise of music concerts at the same venue.
According to the Vanrai Police, prior to the April 11 rave party, such events were organised where college students, including accused Prateek Pandey and deceased student Shreya Rai, were present along with their friends. During interrogation, Pandey admitted that he and his group had consumed MDMA pills at those parties, which were supplied by the same network now under investigation.
Police also found that the victim had consumed MDMA during an event held in October 2025 at Jio World, indicating a pattern of repeated drug use at high-profile events.
Investigations revealed that accused Vineet (Anand Patle) supplied a total of 20 MDMA pills to Prateek Pandey before the April 11 party. These drugs were allegedly sourced from absconding accused Ayush Sahitya. However, the defense has denied all allegations.
Additionally, another absconding accused Shubh Agrawal reportedly supplied drugs to Pandey on 2–3 occasions, which were then distributed among friends and consumed.
Police have uncovered that Pandey and four others accused deleted chats and transaction records linked to Vineet and other suppliers in an attempt to destroy evidence. Authorities are now working to recover the deleted data.
Meanwhile, Vineet’s mobile phone has yielded key evidence, including proof of drug supply through Snapchat and records of communication with multiple individuals.
The probe further revealed that kingpin Ayush Sahitya transferred money to Vineet via QR codes, pointing to a digitally operated drug network.
Financial transactions between the two have been traced.
Location data confirmed that accused Geralani was present at the April 11 party and played an active role in drug distribution. He was in constant touch with Ayush Sahitya through Snapchat and is believed to be his close aide.
Digital evidence recovered from his phone includes transaction details and communication related to drug dealings. Call Detail Records (CDR) of previously arrested accused also identified him as a frequent contact, leading to his arrest.
However, the ticket pricing for the April 11 music event has also drawn attention, ranging from ₹1,499 to ₹3,00,000.
Ticket Categories:
Backstage Phase 3 – ₹5,999
Official After Party (P2) – ₹1,499

Police are now working to trace the timeline of earlier events, identify organizers, and apprehend absconding accused. Officials believe more revelations are likely as the probe progresses.
